This is a program for making long handwriting memos.
Features
This program is similar to the built-in QuickMemo tool, but the height of the memo can be very big. The picture is compressed by RLE-like algorithm on-the-fly, and the size of the file is limited by 30kb, so for typical handwriting the vertical size can be more than 3000 dots. All memos are stored in an application data file.
Using IScratch
After the program is started, the memo selection screen is shown. You can see the first 30 lines of each memo (the ones which are above the dotted line in edit screen). Scroll through the list with the wheel (or up/down buttons), select the memo with a tap or wheel press. The upper (blank) selection opens a new memo.
To delete the memo just draw the line on it from left to right longer than half of the screen width.
After you have selected the memo, the main screen is shown. In the lower part of the screen there is a toolbar with control buttons and status information. The buttons are (from right to left):
- Pen. Pressing this button turns on pen mode. If the pen mode is selected (button highlighted), it allows to switch the pen thickness.
- Eraser. Pressing this button turns on eraser mode. Again, if this mode mode is active, it allows to switch the eraser thickness.
- Corrector. This mode allows to cut or add blank space to the scrolling "film". To do this, drag the stilus up or down.
- Mesh/Black. Switches pen "intensity".
- Undo. Deletes the last drawn line.
The wheel is used to scroll the screen up and down. Pressing the wheel switches between pen and eraser mode.
"Esc" icon clears the memo.
"Menu bar" icon saves the memo and returns to file selection screen.
Pressing QMemo icon calls the QuickMemo tool with the copy of the current screen. The changes you make in it will appear in IScratch when you close QuickMemo. (sorry, this works correctly only on PV-Sx50 models yet).
Before exiting the application with any hardware icon, the changes will be saved. Tip: if you do not want the changes to be saved, go to QuickMemo, then press Menu icon.

Please note: The PV-1600 version is experimental. Not all functionality is available yet (e. g. the memo is not saved when you exit through hardware icons. Editing with QMemo is also not supported).
