There are 2 GLE emacs modes available: the one distributed with GLE (it is very old and does not work with modern versions of emacs) and the one from https://elpa.gnu.org/packages/gle-mode.html. This new mode is good, but syntax highlighting is implemented very poorly. I've modified it - implemented a new, much better highlighting code. The result is here: gle-mode.el (by the way, comment/uncomment region is alt-;).
